Happy World Baking Day my friends.
Gugelhupf cake of Alsace
A traditional cake from the region of Alsace and easy to make, the Gugelhupf cake (one of my cakes above) looks fabulous when made with its fluted high tin.

French Madeleine Cake
Fluffy and delicate, French Madeleine cakes are my go-to option when unexpected guests turn up. I always have the simple ingredients on hand and they only take minutes to cook. Madeleine trays come in different sizes and above you can see the cakes made from my larger cake tray.

Cherry Clafoutis
Traditional and with only a few ingredients, a clafoutis is a perfect dinner dessert. I often make mine with prunes or dates if I don’t have cherries on hand.
