1233 ABC Newcastle Radio Interview with Annette Charlton
So what happens when 1233 ABC Newcastle Radio station contacts you and wants to interview and feature you on one of their popular prime time segments? Well, I don’t know what you’d do, but I said “sure, love to”, so last night I headed into the studio to chat to the charming Paul Bevan about our life in France.
‘Lived Here, Now Lives There’ radio interviews
‘Lived Here, Now Lives There’ is a weekly segment on 1233 ABC Newcastle Radio that features a Novocastrian (native resident of Newcastle) who now lives elsewhere. Finding out about life in a different culture through the eyes of a once time local Novocastrian is the theme of the show and I was honoured to be asked to share our story of how we live between our homes in Newcastle and Brittany, France.
The ‘Lived Here, Now Lives There’ is a three-part series so last night was our first live studio appearance as an introduction segment, and our three feature segments are planned to be live appearances via telephone from our home in France during September. At that time Paul Bevan will be delving deeper into our everyday life as it happens live from France.
I hope you enjoy the interview and are able to catch the subsequent interviews later in the year. Watch our Twitter and Facebook pages for updates on the exact appearance dates and times closer to September.
Thanks very much to Janelle Gerrard from Design Change who put our details forward to 1233 ABC Newcastle Radio, thinking our story was an interesting one and others may like to hear about it too.
Thanks very much also to Tim Connell, Nathanael Little and Paul Bevan from 1233 ABC Newcastle for making the experience fun and one that I’ll remember.
Annette xx
