Bonjour my friend and welcome to newsletter number 122.
Paris is known as the ‘City of Light’ and never more so than in November and December when it sparkles, shines and shimmers with thousands of twinkling Christmas lights. It really is a magical time to visit. Read our post on why it’s called the ‘City of Light’.
The Champs Élysées lights will be lit on 24 November and remain lit till early January 2025. They’ll be lit from 5pm to midnight each day, except Friday and Saturday when they’re lit from 5pm to 1am. Christmas Day and New Years’ Eve the lights are lit from 5pm to 6am. Below is a photo from a previous year.
So now sit back, grab a coffee and croissant, and join me in France!
