Secret Garden in the Marais, Luxury Provence Mansion & Painter Édouard Manet - Newsletter #113
Wishing you a Bon week-end!
What a week of weather it’s been. My husband and son were dashing to Monoprix (department store) on rue de Rennes in Paris for umbrellas before the store sold out when I called them earlier this week. They were wet and out of breath running from the hotel to the department store on their mission to make sure they didn’t miss out on buying umbrellas. I hope your week has been kind to you and you haven’t had more water than you can deal with.
For you this weekend I have a brand new post (published just earlier today) on a secret garden I stumbled upon in the Marais district of Paris. The garden honours a courageous man who saved dozens of Jewish children from deportation and death during World War II. Hidden behind buildings and with only one gated entrance in and out, it really is a peaceful calm and lush space. I’ve shared photos and created a YouTube clip of the garden, so go explore the garden in our latest post.
