Le Journal - December Newsletter
Welcome to the last newsletter of 2020. What a year! I bet same time in 2019 you were not expecting what 2020 has thrown your way, I know I had no idea how 2020 events would affect me.
Together we have watched the world change, lives get upturned and, for some, experience tragedy and uncertainty. I am so grateful for the blessings of health and friendship during this year and for being a small part of your life. I hope you have enjoyed the little breath of joyfulness I have tried to create for you during the year here and on my social channels.
Le Journal - November Newsletter
Bonjour my friends
Change can happen quickly and that seems to be the way in France at the moment. I'm hoping you and your dear friends and family stay safe where ever they live.
Enjoy travelling to France via our newsletter this month with our bumper number of articles and products - they'll help you bring a little of France into your home.
Le Journal - September Newsletter
In this edition of 'Le Journal Française' we have so many articles for you to read, I'll be brief so you can start reading straight away.
Autumn or Spring, which is your favourite? Normally I experience both seasons in the same season, by spending time in both France and Australia during September and October, but the big C has changed that this year. Which ever is your favourite, enjoy it with gusto and spend time outdoors marvelling at Mother Nature, who beautifully reminds us of the simple joys of life.
July Newsletter - Sunshine and concerts as Paris comes alive
I'm calling our July newsletter 'Le Journal' for something different, what do you think?
Have you heard of the beaches in Paris? Each year part of the banks of the Seine and the Bassin du la Villette in the 19th arrondissement are turned into artificial beaches. There are open air cinemas, electric boats to hire, concerts, and fencing activities to enjoy while soaking up the sun. Something very different along the beaches this summer will be the Covid-19 testing hubs - what a change a few months makes!
Wishing you continued health, and happy reading ...
France + All Things French Newsletter - June 2020
Bonjour my friends
I'm so happy to share the latest blog articles with you and a bit about what's happening in France in case you've missed it ...
Versailles - It might just be the best time to visit Versailles without the crowds as it is now welcoming visitors, you just have to buy tickets in advance, wear face masks inside the palace and follow a one-way route.
Bastille Day - The 14 July traditional march of soldiers and display of military down the Champs Elysees has been cancelled, but a smaller ceremony at the Place de la Concorde, where the parade normally ends will go ahead.
Cannes International Film Festival - The Festival that has run for the last 73 years, has after being postponed, ultimately been cancelled with no 2020 edition going ahead. 56 movies have been selected in a what-might-have-been exercise.
April 2020 - Life in France & Isolation Newsletter
Bonjour my friends
How are you holding up with living in isolation? What or who are you missing the most? I'm missing spending time with my daughter and her husband the most as our dinner and coffee catch ups are out of the question. Is reading more or spending time in the garden getting you through this, or maybe chilling out with more TV shows? I think it's okay to cope in what ever way you can, not how your friend or anyone on social is coping. Remember YOUR way is okay!
Staying at home this week has seen me do my own photo shoots for our June edition of 'My Beautiful French Collection Box' products. Being a novice with the camera proved challenging to get the photos I had pictured in my own mind, but I'm happy enough. Accepting that we must stay home, I've chosen to use this photo challenge as a time to develop (or try to develop) my photography skills. I hope next month will be positive for you too.

March 2020 Newsletter - Virtual France, Keeping Positive and Dreaming of Travel
Bonjour
My thoughts are with you all at this very different time in our lives. Honestly, who would have thought we'd be confined to our homes, and unable to do many of the things we are so used to doing just a couple of weeks ago.
My heart goes out to so many who are experiencing supreme difficulties. I've decided, which you may already know if you follow us on Facebook, that I'll do a Virtual France daily post with a photo to bring colour and joy everyday to you.
If I can help bring a smile to your face with an article on a special town in France that you love, or were going to visit in 2020 but now can't due to COVID-19 then email me and I'll prepare and post that for you.
February 2020 Newsletter - Everything French For You
Bonjour,
Love Parisian carousels? They are an institution in Paris and kids and adults all love them. Nothing seems more childlike than sitting on a horse and spinning slowly around to me - I love them! Enjoy your gift of a printable photo this month of the antique carousel opposite the Hôtel de Ville, Paris.
For me, the last month has been busy with a national radio interview, preparations for a stall at an upcoming large French market to showcase our tours and subscription boxes and of course, helping the rural firefighters in our region by providing sandwiches and support during nearby fires.
This month's newsletter has six great articles and our FREE printable to download.
